Established in 1942 as a non-regulatory agency. Loma Prieta
Resource Conservation District (RCD) was created to develop and administer a program of soil, water and related resource conservation in Southern Santa Clara County.
Since its creation, the District has grown to encompass more than 220,000 acres. |
